Who We Are

Rover Digital ("we," "us," or "our") builds team websites and recruiting tools for high school athletic programs. This policy explains what information we collect through our marketing site and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Contact Form

When you submit our contact form, we collect:

• Your name
• Work email address
• School name
• Sport or program
• Any additional message you choose to include

We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and discuss our services. We do not sell, rent, or share your contact information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Prospect Sheet Generator

When you create a prospect sheet, we collect:

• Your email address (required to save and share your sheet)
• School and program information (name, mascot, logo)
• Student athlete data you enter (names, jersey numbers, positions, measurables, academic information, and links to film)
• Player headshot images (paid tiers only)

This data is stored securely to provide the service and is accessible only to you and anyone you share your prospect sheet link with. Shared prospect sheets are viewable by anyone with the link. We may use your email address to contact you about Rover Digital services. We do not sell student athlete data to third parties.

Smart Import (AI Processing)

The Smart Import feature uses a third-party AI service (Anthropic) to extract player information from text you paste. The text you submit is sent to Anthropic for processing and is not stored by Anthropic after processing is complete. No data is sent to Anthropic unless you use the Smart Import feature. Anthropic's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This service collects anonymous, aggregated data including page views, referral sources, browser type, and general geographic region. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information.

Data Storage & Security

Contact form submissions are transmitted securely over HTTPS. We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. We retain your contact information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected.

Cookies

Our site does not use tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics is a cookieless analytics solution.

Local Storage

Our College Search tool uses your browser's local storage to save your school list between visits. This data stays entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers or shared with third parties. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser data or by using the "Clear all" button on the search page.

The Prospect Sheet Generator uses local storage to save your in-progress draft before you create an account. Once you sign up and save your sheet, the data is stored securely in our database and the local draft is cleared.

Third-Party Services

Our site is hosted on Vercel. Contact form submissions may be forwarded to internal tools for our team to follow up. We do not share your personal information with any third-party advertising or marketing services.

Interactive Map

The College Football Program Search page includes an interactive map powered by Leaflet, an open-source mapping library. Map tiles are provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the Open Database License. When you view the map, your browser makes requests to OpenStreetMap tile servers to load map imagery. OpenStreetMap's own privacy policy governs data collected through those requests, which may include your IP address. We do not transmit any personally identifiable information to OpenStreetMap.

Prospect Sheet Generator

The Prospect Sheet Generator ("Tool") allows high school coaches and athletic staff to create and share digital prospect sheets for their student athletes. By using this Tool, you agree to the following:

• Authorized use. You represent that you are a coach, athletic director, or authorized staff member of the school or program you are creating a prospect sheet for. You may only create prospect sheets for programs you are officially affiliated with.
• Student athlete data. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of all player information you enter, including names, measurables, academic information, and any other data. Rover Digital does not verify the accuracy of player data.
• Player headshots (paid tiers). If your plan includes the ability to upload player headshots, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary consent and authorization to upload and publicly display each student athlete's likeness. For minor athletes, this includes written consent from a parent or legal guardian as required by your school, district, or applicable law. You assume full responsibility for any claims arising from the use of student athlete images. Rover Digital is not responsible for verifying consent or authorization for any uploaded images.
• Acceptable use. You agree not to use the Tool to upload or share content that is defamatory, fraudulent, misleading, or that violates any applicable law. We reserve the right to remove any content or suspend any account that violates these terms.
• Data ownership. You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Tool. By using the Tool, you grant Rover Digital a limited license to store, display, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
• Service tiers. The free tier of the Tool provides basic prospect sheet functionality. Additional features, including player headshots, coach and player logins, and custom domains, are available through paid plans. Rover Digital reserves the right to modify tier features at any time.
• Account and data deletion. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

General Terms

• No warranty. The Tool is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the Tool will meet your specific requirements.
• Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rover Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Tool.
• Modifications. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Tool after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you. To make a request, contact us at the email below.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
